Yasmeen Ibrahim MCP, RCC, PMH-C

Yasmeen has been in the counselling field since 2011, starting her career internationally in the Middle East (Dubai, UAE) and building her private practice locally in the Fraser Valley and the Lower Mainland in BC. Yasmeen is currently pursuing her Doctorate at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling through Middlesex University in London, specializing in Counselling Psychology. She has worked in various settings including Correctional Facilities working with male offenders, a Trauma Center creating and running support and resource groups, in School Settings providing clinical counselling and participating in CARE meetings, as well as Non-Profit Organizations.
Yasmeen has a passion for supporting individuals and families and has extensive training in the field of Perinatal Mental Health and Trauma Therapy, which are her areas of expertise. Yasmeen also works with a range of challenges including work-related challenges, First-Responder's Mental Health, emotion-regulation and relationship challenges, and is EMDR trained. In addition to her Private Practice, Yasmeen previously worked as a Clinical Counsellor at Share Family & Community Services for the Primary Care Network Program, a physician referred counselling program. In addition to being a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Yasmeen is also a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Clinician (PMH-C).
